Bookmaker's chief executive

HIGH STREET and online bookmaker William Hill has appointed operations director James Henderson as its new chief executive.

Mr Henderson, who has been with the group for 29 years, will replace retiring chief executive Ralph Topping on August 1, as he steps down after 44 years with the firm, the last six as its chief executive.
