THE RECENTLY launched North Sea focused exploration and production company Siccar Point Energy has appointed a new non-executive director.
Nick Cooper, chief executive of Ophir Energy, is the first person to join Siccar Point's board since its formal launch on September 1. He said: "It is a pleasure to be joining the board. at this early stage of what is a very exciting business venture.""
Jonathan Roger, chief executive of Siccar Point, said: "Nick's experience in building successful E&P companies, including those with private equity backing, will be hugely valuable.
"With the focus of our E&P business being the North Sea, we need likeminded professionals who share our vision. Nick complements and adds to our existing board's strengths in a number of areas."
