EnerMech signals intent

Aberdeen-based EnerMech has signalled a step-up in its international ambitions by appointing mergers and acquisitions expert Ingrid Stewart, who joins the mechanical engineering group from investment bank Simmons.

Mrs Stewart takes on the new role of corporate development director.

EnerMech recently secured £25 million from private equity backers Lime Rock Partners and is raising funding from banks. It expects to add five new businesses to the group within six months as it extends its global footprint.
