Kenneth Moyes, the Glasgow-based businessman and brother of Everton manager David Moyes, is set to expand his professional football tours firm Libero SPX.

Mr Moyes's company arranges pre and mid-season tours and matches for professional football teams. His clients include Everton and SPL champions Celtic.

It is expanding to accommodate international teams, including the Romanian national team and the England under-21s.

The business arranges hotel accommodation for the players and coaching staff, negotiates and arranges matches, organises travel arrangements and secures TV coverage for the games.

The expansion follows a finance deal with Santander Corporate & Commercial, which includes a specialist currency trading package to support European growth.

Libero SPX was set up in July 2012 alongside Mr Moyes's existing sports management business, when he identified that it was becoming increasingly challenging for clubs to arrange their pre and mid-season fixtures in-house.

Mr Moyes said he had been running tours for 10 years and the deal would secure his involvement in the business for another decade.

He said: "I am confident the business will be able to flourish and expand, with the possibility of opening offices in Spain and China in the foreseeable future."

Douglas Dunlop, relationship director for Santander Corporate Banking, said: "I'm really pleased we've been able to play our part in supporting Mr Moyes and Libero SPX. It's been great hearing about his work with high-profile teams both in the UK and mainland Europe and we hope with our help he can go even further."
