The wealth management platform technology provider said it is seeking both project managers and operations personnel as it prepares for further growth at its Tanfield hub, where it currently employs 300 people.
Daniel Kasmir, human resources director at FNZ, said: "FNZ has seen rapid expansion over the past 10 years."
He added: "As FNZ continues to expand on a global scale, the need to hire the very best people becomes even more essential in achieving our ambitious growth targets.
"We identified Edinburgh as a city that has an available and talented workforce, which will ensure that we are able to recruit the right people with the right skills for FNZ to reach the next stage of development as a business."
The company, which appointed former Scottish Widows chairman Baron Leitch of Oakley as its own chairman in June, is catering to a drive among financial services companies to improve processes, such as the speed of transfers between different platforms, amid tightening regulation of the sector.
Mr Kasmir said: "FNZ is a fast-moving company and recruits can expect quick career progression, opportunities to work on cutting edge technologies and international travel.
"The average age of an FNZ team member is 25, so it is a vibrant working environment."
While currently headquartered in Scotland, the company has its roots in New Zealand where it retains a presence, and has bases in the Czech Republic and Australia.
