Green Bank's new chief

PRIVATE equity specialist Shaun Kingsbury has been named the new chief executive of the Green Investment Bank.

Mr Kingsbury moves from Hudson Clean Energy Partners, where he was responsible for European activities.

Six new non-executive directors were also named yesterday. They will work alongside the previously announced chairman, Lord Smith of Kelvin, and deputy chairman Sir Adrian Montague.

Lord Smith said: "Shaun brings a strong track record of leadership in private equity and low carbon finance. The non-executive directors also bring strong expertise to our new board."
