OUTGOING HMV boss Simon Fox will receive a golden hello of £600,000 of shares for taking the chief executive role at Trinity Mirror.

Mr Fox's initial annual salary of £500,000 at the newspaper publisher is below the £750,000 his predecessor Sly Bailey was on.
However Mr Fox, who has headed HMV since 2006 but is leaving on September 6, will have a bonus potential of 75% of his salary plus a cash allowance of £75,000 instead of a pension.
