Lawrie takes on development role

JOHNSTON Carmichael has taken on an experienced accountant in a business development role to expand its operations in the west of Scotland.

John Lawrie has worked at travel operator AT Mays and accountancy firm Coopers and Lybrand, which is now PwC.

He also spent 15 years as a partner at Ayrshire accountancy practice William Duncan, having set up its audit practice.
