LAW firm MacRoberts has appointed three new partners as it beefs up a number of practice areas.

Roddy MacLennan and Lisa Frost both join from Tods Murray while Jacqueline Stroud moves from Drummond Miller.

Mr MacLennan, who had been at Tods Murray for more than 27 years, is a corporate and banking specialist who will be based in Edinburgh.

The dual qualified Ms Frost, who was with her previous employer for a decade, will also work out of the Scottish capital where she becomes part of the commercial property team at MacRoberts.

Meanwhile, Ms Stroud takes up the role as head of family law.

She will work in the private client team but will operate across the firm's offices in Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow.

Craig Turnbull, managing partner at MacRoberts, said: "We are delighted to have hired another three exceptional lawyers as partners."
