RENFREWSHIRE Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Audrey Cumberford as president and Tom Johnston, who last held the position, to the new role of honorary president.
Ms Cumberford, principal and chief executive of West College Scotland, will be the second female president in the organisation's 50-year history, after Sheila Laidlaw in 1991.
Mr Johnston's role will include assisting her in progressing the chamber.
She said she was "honoured" to take the role at one of Scotland's "most active" chambers, "and with the support of the board and the members look forward to continuing to helping Renfrewshire grow and prosper".
