SCOTTISH Friendly has made four appointments within its actuarial and risk teams, which the mutual says reflect its recent growth and diversification into new products.

Donald Macleod, who joined the society in early 2012 after two years at Hymans Robertson and 11 at Standard Life, becomes head of actuarial. Cameron Burt, who takes up the new role of head of pricing and profitability, and new risk manager Graeme Dick both join from Standard Life. Brian Tonner, with Scottish Friendly since 1998, becomes reporting actuary.
