SSE management change

SSE has announced a management shake-up that sees Alistair Phillips-Davies promoted from generation and supply director to deputy chief executive.

Mr Phillips-Davies has been on the board since 2002 having previously worked for Southern Electric, HSBC and National Westminster.

In addition, Will Morris moves to the new role of managing director for retail while Martin Pibworth, currently director of energy trading, becomes managing director of energy portfolio management.
