GREGOR Alexander, long-serving finance director of Scottish electricity and gas giant SSE, is joining the board of Perth-based bus and rail company Stagecoach in a non-executive capacity.
Mr Alexander, whose appointment was announced yesterday, will become a non-executive director of Stagecoach from April 1. He will chair Stagecoach's audit committee from July 1.
Stagecoach has announced previously that the current chairman of its audit committee, Garry Watts, will become its deputy chairman with effect from May 1.
