STANDARD Life has appointed Isabel Hudson, a non-executive at Phoenix Group, as a new non-executive director.
Ms Hudson, who was on the board at the Pensions Regulator until this year, is also about to join the board at BT. Her career includes senior roles at Prudential, Eureko, and Synesis Life. Sir Gerry Grimstone, chairman, was pleased she had agreed to take up the role, which has a £71,000 annual fee, and said: "As well as her strong knowledge of the UK life insurance and pensions markets, she will bring wide-ranging international experience as a non-executive director."
