SOFTWARE company Data Discoveries narrowed its losses, according to its latest set of accounts.

The Edinburgh firm, which specialises in applications that help businesses trace and keep track of customers who owe them money, booked £1.5 million of turnover in the nine months to March 31 last year and a pre-tax loss of £15,665. That compares with the £1.7m taken in during the 12 months to the end of June 2011 and a loss of £56, 235.

The firm's accounting period was changed following its acquisition in mid-2011 by GB Group.
