MORE than 200 retail jobs will be created in Glasgow next month when the Buchanan Quarter development opens.

Around 150 posts will be at the three-storey Forever 21 store, which extends to 62,000 square feet and is the US fashion brand's first outlet in Scotland.

Around 40 staff will join card and stationery specialist Paperchase's flagship Scottish store, which also includes a Tinderbox cafe.

And a further 15 jobs will be created at leisure wear firm Fat Face.

The Land Securities' development at the top of Buchanan Street is scheduled to open on March 22.

It also has 49 apartments and supported 100 construction jobs in the project.
