THE Office of Fair Trading has decided not to refer Stagecoach's expansion of its Manchester operations to the Competition Commission.
The transport firm agreed a £2 million deal to add private operator Bluebird Bus & Coach to its existing Manchester Buses (South) subsidiary last year.
Bluebird operates 40 vehicles and has 80 staff compared to Stagecoach's 630 buses and 1850 staff in Manchester.
