BEGBIES Traynor has seen its revenues fall after a decline in the number of insolvency cases across the UK.

The firm said revenue dipped from £26.1 million to £22.3m in the six months to October 31 although pre-tax profits were flat at £2m.

A cost reduction programme was said to have delivered £2.9m of savings, which was ahead of the £2m predicted.
