The Financial Services Consumer Panel has appointed three new members.

The independent body set up to advise and challenge the Financial Conduct Authority has recruited broadcast journalist Liz Barclay, former Treasury civil servant Caroline Barr, and Doug Taylor, a former adviser at Which? Mr Taylor is now a member of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority, a governor of the Pensions Policy Institute, and the leader of Enfield Council.

The panel's Scottish members include lawyer Mike Dailly.
