Head Resourcing, a fast growing Scottish recruitment business, has attracted a big-hitting chairman as it targets UK expansion and a turnover of £50 million.
The Edinburgh-based company has appointed Martin Ewart, former head of group technology at HBOS and managing director of Logica, while co-founder Paul Atkinson remains a non-executive.
Mr Atkinson, founder of investment network Par Equity, remains a major shareholder after the departure of business partner Gordon Adam, who his now running Peachy Monday.
In 2001 they set up Active Executive, rebranding it as Head Resourcing, which had a £38m turnover in 2012.
