SHARES in Arria NLG have risen 3.7% after the company unveiled a new software product.

Professor Ehud Reiter, chief scientist at Arria and part of the team who developed its natural language generation technology at Aberdeen University, said the Data Science Framework product would improve the capture of data and its translation into readable language.

The product was launched at a event held in Houston, Texas, in the United States and is initially being aimed at the medical and oil and gas industries.

Shares were up 2p to 56p.
