A SCOTCH whisky distillery has produced a single malt for exclusive sale in some of England's most famous palaces.

Spey's Royal Choice, distilled at the Speyside Distillery by Harvey's of Edinburgh, is made under licence from Historic Royal Palaces, the charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Banqueting House, Kensington Palace and Kew Palace. It maintains a royal link Spey has held for almost 200 years — Lord Byron gifted King George III a barrel to celebrate his marriage to Annabella Milbanke in 1815.
