INDIA is the global leader for entrepreneurism, Ireland ranks seventh, and the UK a lowly 28th out of 33 countries, according to a report by Oracle Capital.

The research attempts to measure perception of entrepreneurs, attitude to risks involved in starting a new venture, willingness to risk personal finance, and national levels of entrepren-eurial activity, among others.

The US is the only large developed economy to appear in the top ten, with its residents scoring well on experience, early-stage business activity and a lack of fear of failure.
