AGGREKO, the temporary power specialist, has struck a deal to supply the Moma Mineral Sands Tintainum mine in north-east Mozambique.

The company, currently supplying power for football broadcasts at the World Cup in Brazil, will provide a 10 megawatt (MW) solution to the mine.

The solution means the site, operated by Ireland's Kenmare Resources, can continue to be supplied by the local grid, while being able to operate independently when the need arises.
