Recruitment firm Michael Page said its gross profit rose 8.9% to £137.2 million on the back of strong growth in the UK, China and the US in the second quarter of its financial year.
But the FTSE 250 firm added that a strong pound had knocked gross profit by £10 million in the period and by £19 million over the half year.
