WOOD Group has won two new contracts from Statoil to deliver concept and feasibility studies to the oil and gas company’s Norwegian North Sea assets.

Aberdeen-based Wood will deliver a “topside” concept study to evaluate the tie-in of Total’s Garantiana field development to Statoil’s Gullfaks B and Visund facilities.

The company will also provide a feasibility study for Statoil’s Tampen oil pipeline, covering subsea pipelines and risers and topside modifications.

The contracts will be delivered by Wood from its offices in Norway.
