RECRUITMENT firm iMultiply Resourcing is eyeing more acquisitions in Scotland after completing the integration of the Glasgow-based Allen Accountancy Recruitment business it bought in June.

Founder Kirsty Mackenzie said the company had enjoyed some good business wins in recent months, which have given it the confidence to consider buying other firms to help maintain its growth.

With headquarters in Edinburgh, iMultiply has achieved strong growth in the market for interim appointments. It has been capitalising on the increasing popularity of interim appointments.

The firm has enjoyed success with entrepreneurial businesses and social enterprises.

Its customer base includes Blackcircles.com, the tyres business sold by Mike Welch to Michelin in 2015, and data specialist deltaDNA.

The company has enlisted well known figures from the entrepreneurial community to support the growth push.

John Anderson, a former chief executive of the Entrepreneurial Exchange, became chairman in June. He said iMultiply was in great shape for its next phase of growth.

Technology veteran George Elliott joined the advisory board in March.

iMultiply is likely to use acquisitions to broaden its sector expertise and extend its geographic reach. It would consider moving into England if suitable opportunities arose.
