Sir Bob Reid takes board role at Belltree

OIL and gas veteran Sir Bob Reid is taking up a new role as non-executive director of Edinburgh-based Belltree, a specialist consultancy based in Edinburgh. 
The former chair and chief executive of Shell UK will advise and support Belltree with its expansion into international markets.
During his 36-year tenure at Shell, Sir Bob, spent much of his time overseas including posts in Asia and Africa. He is also a former chair of the British Railways Board.
“I am sure Sir Bob’s unique insights will prove to be vital in helping us provide a truly global E&P benchmarking capability to investors, operators and regulators,” said Belltree’s Rod Clark.

Milne recruits to build on target

Stewart Milne Homes has appointed a new construction director for Central Scotland as part of its drive to deliver more than 500 new homes annually in this region.
Bryan Galloway will be responsible for driving this number after Milne acquired land with a sales value in excess of £100 million in central Scotland. 
Mr Galloway will head up an experienced construction team, bringing experience from his roles with national housebuilders, Wimpey Homes, CALA Homes, Miller Homes, and, most recently, Barratt Homes and Avant Homes.
The group is continuing to invest in new developments in the region, with plans to purchase land in the next 12 months with a turnover value in excess of £150m.
