BUSINESS management consultancy AM Bid Services has recorded a 73 per cent rise in turnover in its third year of trading after expanding the range of services it offers.

Founded in 2014 by managing director Andrew Morrison, the company, which initially focused on writing contract bids and proposals, now also offers training and bid strategy consultancy.

This has allowed it to expand its workforce to seven and helped push its turnover to just under £465,000 in the last financial year.

Mr Morrison said: “I spotted a gap in the market in 2014 to help companies deliver business growth by creating winning bids and proposals.

“We have a strong workforce with a huge wealth of expertise which is expanding across the country and I am committed to nurturing our younger members of staff to ensure they grow with the business.”

Earlier this year the firm appointed former Scotland rugby captain David Sole as its non-executive chairman.

He noted that “2017 has been another year of exceptional growth for AM Bid Services”, adding that the growth was “down to the hard work, dedication and expertise in the team that Andrew has put together”.

“The business has an outstanding platform to build on for the coming year and is in a great position to capitalise on its place in the market as leading bid specialists,” Mr Sole added.

AM Bid Services works for clients in the public and private sectors, helping them write proposals for contracts that are put out for competitive tender.

According to the business, its success rate currently sees it win between 80 per cent and 90 per cent of the proposals it submits.
