Bill Nixon, managing partner of Maven Capital Partner
MAVEN Capital Partners, has exited its investment in Crawford Scientific, realising a 4.7 times return for its clients.
Crawford Scientific is a Lanark-based supplier of chromatography products and analytical services to the laboratory research and testing sectors.
It has been acquired by London-based private equity firm Limerston Capital Partners, after Maven invested in August 2014. The private equity house is led by managing partner Bill Nixon.
Since investing, Maven has worked collaboratively with the business to execute a number of strategic initiatives, including the acquisition of Hall Analytical Laboratories which Maven’s clients also funded.
