SHARES in marketing group SpaceandPeople jumped nine per cent yesterday as the Glasgow-based upgraded profit forecasts.

The group, which manages promotional space in shopping centres and transport hubs, said in a trading update that revenue to the end of 2017 would be in line with market expectations after a strong final quarter.

But because of mix of revenue from the individual divisions being slightly different, pre-tax profit before taxation will be £100,000 higher than anticipated at around £1.2 million.

Interim revenue was up three per cent to £4.8m.
