Brewin Dolphin, the independently-owned financial planner and investment manager, has appointed Arlene Ewing as an assistant director in its 36-strong Glasgow office. She joins from Glasgow-based stock broker Speirs & Jeffrey, where she was an associate director of investment management for 15 years.

With £36.4 billion in funds under management, Brewin Dolphin offers award-winning personalised wealth management for more than 100,000 account holders, including individuals, charities and pension funds.

Arlene is a chartered fellow and a Scottish committee member for the Chartered Institute for Security and Investment.
