There were also 328 Scotch Mule ewe hoggs forward that peaked at £129 for a pen from Mr Jameson, Garrochtrie and levelled at £107.26 (-£12.71).
Messrs Craig Wilson Ltd sold 131 prime hoggs at Ayr yesterday to a top of £102 per head and 211.4p per kg to average 181.8p (-0.8p on the week), while 402 prime lambs peaked at £124 and 281.8p to level at £104.03 and 253.1p (+23.9p).

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd sold 29 prime heifers in St Boswells yesterday to a top of 249p per kg and an average of 216p (-6p), while 21 prime bullocks peaked at 240p and levelled at 218p (-7p). Four prime bulls sold to 239p and averaged 170p (no comparison).
In the rough ring 32 beef cows sold to 225p and averaged 152p (+1p).
There were also 362 prime hoggs that sold to £131 and 212p to average 183p (-4p), while 877 prime lambs peaked at £127 and 277p to level at £103.80 and 244.5p (-13.5p).
The 229 cast sheep forward saw heavy ewes sell to £111 for Suffolks and average £88, while light ewes peaked at £79 for Cheviots and levelled at £61.
The firm also sold 19 prime heifers in Lanark yesterday to a top of 243.5p and an average of 202.1p (+10.2p), while 32 prime bullocks peaked at 223.5p and levelled at 196.1p (+0.5p). Thirty-two prime, beef-bred bulls sold to 224.5p and averaged 187.6p (no change), while 64 prime, dairy-bred bulls peaked at 180.5p and levelled at 151.2p (-14p).
In the rough ring 191 beef cows sold to 223.5p and averaged 147.8p (+7.2p), while 255 dairy cows peaked at 164.5p and levelled at 113.2p (+3.4p). Nine bulls sold to 145.5p and averaged 124.3p (-22.1p).
There were also 123 prime hoggs that sold to £117.80 and 218.7p to average 172.7p (+1.4p), while 899 prime lambs peaked at £131.80 and 321.7p to level at 252.1p (+8.6p).
A small show of 86 cast sheep saw heavy ewes sell to £107.50 for Texels and average £81.31, while light ewes peaked at £93.50 for a Hill Cheviot and levelled at £61.50.
Lawrie & Symington Ltd sold 18 prime heifers in Lanark yesterday to a top of 259p and an average of 233p (+5.9p), while 7 prime, beef-bred bullocks peaked at 226p and levelled at 211p (-7p). Three prime, B&W bullocks averaged 149p (-2.9p).
In the rough ring 32 beef cows averaged 135.2p (+1.2p) and 30 dairy cows levelled at 106.4p (-2.6p).
There were also 277 prime hoggs that sold to £115.50 and 228.7p to average 186.6p (no change), while 326 prime lambs peaked at £127.50 and 308.5p to level at 260.9p (+19.4p).
The 301 cast sheep forward saw heavy ewes sell to £148.50 for a Texel and average £77.77, while light ewes peaked at £69.50 for a Cheviot and levelled at £53.43.
