Call for heroin and cocaine to be legalised in bid to halve deaths

Legalising heroin and cocaine could halve the number of drug deaths and would save £10bn a year, according to a new report.

Despite billions spent on prohibition, current drugs policy has failed to stop supply increasing, it said.
