We need to talk about the F-word.

Yes, famine. There was a heart-rendingly honest report out yesterday from two of the UK's biggest aid agencies, admitting their part in the bungled response to the 2011 East African famine in which between 50,000 and 100,000 people died needlessly. "We all bear responsibility for the dangerous delay that cost lives," confesses Judith Robertson, head of Oxfam Scotland.
