DONALD McClusky (Letters, November 17) is all too correct in what he writes about Heathrow and its never-ending route marches.

He did, however, miss out one extra which our Tory friends down south have imposed.

If you fly directly abroad from Glasgow you only pay airport passenger tax once, if you fly via Heathrow you will have to pay it twice.
