Given the strained relationship between TiE and the Bilfinger Berger-led consortium involved with Edinburgh trams, was it not entirely predictable that the recent mediation talks would end in stalemate?

Let’s be clear about one thing: the trams delay is now all about money. Or rather, money alleged to be due to the Bilfinger, Siemens and CAF consortium, now mired in dispute with TiE.
