Children in care

We call them “looked-after” children, yet those whose families are unable to care for them, or who have abused or neglected them, are all too often failed further by official care.

The report from the Scottish Institute for Residential Child Care provides welcome new thinking on joint working between residential care staff and the community-based social work, education and health services.
