BBC is not playing the game over Salmond and Cameron

I DON'T know what qualifications Alex Salmond has to comment on an international rugby match, and anyway we already have too many "expert" pundits ("SNP at loggerheads with BBC over Salmond 'ban'", The Herald, February 9).

We did not really miss him. But it was noticeable that the BBC was very quick to seek the views of David Cameron on the resignation of the England football manager. Why? What is the difference? I think we should be told.
