IN reply to David Beckett (Letters, March 30) I would never criticise the NHS staff for their hard work and dedication but I would criticise those who run the service and for the politicians for making it a political football.
Look at the transport and parking problems at the new Sothern General Hospital, and it will be a month or two before they are is ready to accept the extra load from the old Victoria Hospital, where there has been little surgery carried out there since the New Year
The move has been known about for many years but I think they are still making it up on the back of a fag packet.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
