Having recently visited the Bradford Film and TV Museum I thought such a museum would be appropriate in Glasgow.

It could tell the history of James Clark Maxwell, a Scot with early interest in radio waves; John Logie Baird, the father of television, and Robert Watson Watt the inventor of radar – all, of course, Scots. Between them and Alexander Graham Bell, who invented the telephone, Scotland could be said to have laid the foundation of the internet. There is room in Glasgow for another museum and the city council along with the BBC and STV could create one alongside the headquarters of the media organisations and the Science Centre right in the heart of the city.
