IN reply to your correspondent David McNeill (Letters, November 12), the SNP Government was not invited to lay a wreath at the London Remembrance this year (Letters, November12).

The UK Government alternates its invitations between the SNP and Plaid Cymru and it was Plaid's turn this year. This issue has raised its head on previous occasions with Unionists trying to make political capital out of the absence of SNP representation.
