HAVING been on holiday during the last week in June, I missed a series of articles by Alan Campbell which were of interest to me ("Why Club Academy Scotland is failing Scottish football", The Herald, June 23; "Call for action over 'children's transfer market'", The Herald, June 24, and "Case against CAS has evidence throughout Scottish football", The Herald, June 25).

Not a major calamity. However, I decided to visit The Herald's Glasgow offices to see if these pieces could be retrieved for me.

So last Thursday, I took my extremely unimportant request to reception, where Claire gave me VIP attention; the following day I experienced the same excellent service from a male member of your staff. Both did an admirable and impressive job for The Herald.
