The drawing of the quarterings

ONLY a heraldic anorak would notice, but Steven Camley's otherwise amusingly topical cartoon yesterday (The Herald, December 4) showed the royal babe swaddled in the Royal Arms of Great Britain as used in England.

We have our own quarterings in Scotland.

MANY congratulations on Monday's The Three Wise Guys cartoon. It sent me off to work on a wintery Monday morning with a smile. The expression on the donkey's face was priceless.
