Defence contingency plan urged in case of Scottish independence

The Government was today accused of being "irresponsible" for not drawing up a contingency plan for defence in case of Scottish independence.

Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy said he had no plans to discuss the matter with the Defence Secretary.
