My Beauty Bag: Laura McMonagle

Actress Laura McMonagle, who has starred in Lip Service, River City and the Paul Ferris biopic The Wee Man, reveals her beauty secrets.

What is your essential beauty tip?

My beauty tip is to take your makeup off at night and to cleanse, tone and moisturise. Although I have to remind myself to do so!

What are your favourite products?

Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser (£25.50)

It’s not too heavy on your skin and removes make-up pretty easily.

Dermalogica Multi Active Toner (£25.50)

This leaves your skin feeling super refreshed.

Kiehl's Centella Skin Recovery Salve (£39.50)

I use this morning and night to rehydrate my skin and leave if feeling nice and soft.

Kiehl's Pineapple Papaya Facial Scrub (£24)

I love this stuff. You should only use it once a week if you have sensitive skin like me. It smells so good!

Schwarzkopf Osis Dust It Mattifying Powder (around £10)

I hate nice perfect hair, so I sprinkle a little bit of this and it matts your hair, making it easier to style in a more messy way.

Simple cleansing facial wipes (£3)

I always use these if I’m in a rush and don’t have time to do a proper beauty regime. So good for removing makeup (especially mascara) and they are soft on your skin.

Le Sourcil De Chanel Perfect Brows (£42)

I’m obsessed with big eyebrows and have tried so many different kits. This one is definitely the best!

MAC Studio Finish Concealer (£14.50)

This is the best blemish/spot cover ever! Just apply a tiny bit on the spot and it disappears. I couldn’t go out without this in my makeup bag!
