With Lidl launching a bargain £3.99 male fragrance, we look at the cut-price scents that offer a bargain basement bouquet

Retailing at £3.99 for 50ml, the new Lidl fragrance G.Bellini X-Bolt has been launched in response to its successful female fragrance Madame Glamour.  

The global market for fragrances and perfume is set to reach £20 billion by 2015, however according to market research group Mintel, three in ten Britons think that fragrances are overpriced, which may explain the high demand for lower priced fragrances across the market.
