As Paris Fashion Week drew to a close, we can but gasp at the utterly fabulous collections that were on display throughout the week.

The anticipation for spring /summer 2013 is quite frankly too much and we’re not even into our Bottega boots, Prada ponchos or Cavalli coats yet for winter!

And by golly did the big guns out do themselves this season.  But the Miu Miu front row, or ‘frow’ as it’s called, just topped them all.

When all eyes should have been on the catwalk, the Miu Miu celebrity guest list won the ‘Frow of the Week’ award with Amanda Seyfried, Emma Stone and Dianne Agron drawing envious gasps from the audience.

So let’s just give you a run down of their looks; who needs to talk about the catwalk!

23 yrs old Spiderman actress Emma Stone looked cool and effortlessly casual in a black cady strapless bustier dress with an organza silk ruffled underskirt. She paired it with Fuchsia camoscio peep-toe double-strap pumps and multicolour printed handbag with gold hardware. Set off by rosy red lips, it gave her a fresh yet super chic look, all by Miu Miu of course (that’s why they’re there right?)

Next up is a very grown up Amanda Seyfried in a very androgynous, polished and fabulous look. Nothing Abba baby about this young lady now, huh!  With trouser suits all the rage, Seyfried made an entrance in her scarlet red kid mohair 3 button suit, suitably smoky purple spazzolato (love that word) Mary Jane platforms and a perfectly pretty Prada geometric print handbag. This time we’re swinging Prada Resort people and Amanda seriously pulled it off.

Just when people thought the faux fur coats and stoles in abundance on the catwalk would steal the show, one spots Chloë Sevigny, Miu Miu poster girl in a magnificent printed jacquard wool three-button jacket with a printed gazarre-silk shirt and pink mélange kid mohair shorts. Yes those skinny legs and uber cool look that Sevigny manages each and every time worked a treat. Paired with purple spazzolato chunky-heeled loafters (all the rage by the way), a black madras handbag and this lady was every inch a Miu Miu maestro!

My other absolute favourite was the young actress Dianna Agron. You probably know her from Glee where she plays Quinn Fabray or perhaps you’ve spotted her in shows like Heroes or even one of my favourite movies, I Am Number Four, but let me tell you this lady is earning her fashion stripes with her choice of a very tasteful navy cotone tecnico trench and turquoise crepe nátte wool dress.  Short-sleeved and collared, it worked a treat and provided Dianna with a very Italian, ‘I’m here to work the fashion pages’ look. Paired with suede cross strap platform heels and a navy patent clutch this young gun will continue to sport Miu Miu since she carries it so well.

From across the pond to our British starlets, we saw the very beautiful actress Felicity Jones wearing a lovely little black nátte wool collarless jacket, a white popeline shirt with a crystal-embroidered collar, and a black natté wool mirror-embroidered skirt. Complemented by petite black patent bow-detail pumps with crystal embedded heels - suited her innocent style just perfectly, all Miu Miu but of course.

And so the list goes on with Bérénice Bejo in Prada, Elena Anya, Jessie Ware and Dominque Young Unique all in Miu Miu, proving that it was by far the most fetching celebrity front row of the week! Quite what the cost for shuttling these fair maidens across the English Channel and Atlantic would have been anyone’s guess but worth every penny I suspect!
