If you're at all familiar with riding a bike safely, living in a cold country or channelling your inner Jay Kay, you'll be knowledgeable on the affliction of hat hair.
But leading toy manufacturer Playmobil has brought a whole new meaning to the term with the launch of its first line of headwear, which has been inspired by the hairdos of its miniature plastic dolls.
Designed in collaboration with East London knitwear label Electronic Sheep, the new collection comprises limited edition beanie hats in mustard yellow, red, black and grey, in the style of the "globally recognised Playmobil haircut."
The range of hats, which are made from Italian yarn, have been produced to celebrate Playmobil's 40th anniversary and will be available to buy from www.playmobil.co.uk/playmohair from the end of the month.
