DIY Cocktails: a Celtic mix

With Celtics Connections kicking off in Glasgow, this cocktail provides an apt way to raise a glass to the best in traditional Scottish music.

Bringing together a strong, yet delicious medley of Scottish whisky and Irish whiskey - it's the perfect pre-ceilidh tipple. Just one though, you'll need to keep your balance.

Let the dancing begin.

 1 oz of Scotch whisky

1 oz of Irish whiskey

½ oz of lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

A dash of bitters

1 Half fill a short glass with ice cubes.

2 Add all of the ingredients, stir well and serve.
